Friends of SWGS
Volunteer
We're always looking for volunteers - family and friends - to help us with events. During the year we usually assist with manning school discos, concerts, drama productions, open evenings and more. We have over 1100 parents/guardians to call on - but we often have the same people rock up each time. Please help in any shape or form and bring a friend. You will have fun and get a great sense of achievement.
All of the events on our events page need volunteers in some capacity, sign-ups can be found on Classlist.

FoSWGS Committee
2025-26
We are very much in need of a new Refreshments Coordinator and Store manager to join us. These can be shared or co-positions. The calendar and list of events for much of next year is already published, so you can see what's coming and there is a lot of experience and support to help. The key ingredient is having the flexibility to shop for supplies as needed, and to be at school for (mostly Wednesday & Thursday) evenings. This is always the challenge; we're all parents with other commitments and often other children & family to fit things round. Hence the team approach!
